The Outlets at Orange: Something for Everyone

Thrifty shoppers know that outlet stores are the best places to find amazing deals. The Outlets at Orange are stocked full with quality pieces at reduced prices. High end fashion chains supply The Outlets with overstocked merchandise, which is then sold to you for an unbelievable price. High end stores like Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue have outlets here, as do H&M and American Eagle Outfitters. The quality of stores here is pretty remarkable when comparing to your typical outlet stores. The only real difference is the price you’ll pay for these great items. New arrivals are frequent, as are daily reduced prices in the form of specials and deals. Parking is typically a breeze at The Outlets, but at busier times feel free to take advantage of the convenient valet service. The Outlets also feature a lot of great restaurants for hungry shoppers. There is even a cinema to finish off your day with a movie.

South Coast Plaza: It’s All At The Mall

California is widely regarded as the home of great shopping malls, so it’s no surprise that Costa Mesa boasts a truly excellent one. South Coast Plaza was opened in 1967 by the Segerstrom family in a plot of land that was formerly used for growing lima beans. From those humble beginnings, the shopping center has grown into the largest mall in California. The Plaza has expanded multiple times during its life, employing top-notch architects and designers like Victor Gruen and Isamu Noguchi to lend it a classy atmosphere. South Coast Plaza’s retailers bring in a staggering $1.5 billion in sales every year – more than any other mall in the United States. With over 250 stores, there’s something for everyone here, including many retailers that you won’t find in other local malls. Rolex’s United States flagship store is located there, for instance. The mall is anchored by Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and Saks.
